Water / Sewer
All city residential and business customers pay each month for water used. Not receiving a bill in the mail is not an excuse for non-payment.
Due to continuing issues with the United States Postal System in our area, we are encouraging all residents to sign up to view their bills online. That link can be found on the Utilities page. All you need is your account number and last name listed on the account. At the end of the month, you will receive an email advising you that you have a bill to view. You also have the option to pay your bill online but there is a fee. Use of a third party company other than our credit card portal contracted with Payment Service Network, may delay receipt of payments.
Additional Services Offered: The city provides enrollment for AirMedCare membership. Membership is $5.00, billed on water bill every month. Want to give a monthly donation to the Buffalo Volunteer Fire Dept? Ask to sign up for a $2.00 donation to be added to your monthly water bill. You can opt-out of the donation at any time.

Garbage Service
**Please note: Effective October 1st, garbage service day will change to Friday for those customers in the yellow area of the attached map:
The monthly residential charge for garbage pickup is $14.95 with a cart. This service is contracted with Republic Services. There is one pickup per week per account, on Wednesday, unless you live in the area above marked in yellow. Only Republic Services carts can be used and all garbage must be bagged. Only household garbage is accepted.
*Missed Garbage- If you garbage was not picked up on the designated day, please contact Republic Services directly at 903-874-8717.
Special collection for up to 2 bulk items is offered the 2nd Friday of every month. Items included are appliances (refrigerants MUST be removed), water tanks, washers, furniture, etc. NO household garbage. NO construction debris, TVs, computers, tires or any other items not accepted at a disposal facility. Call 903-874-8717 to schedule your pick up.
The City of Buffalo has an exclusive contract with Republic Services.
Dumpster service is provided by the garbage contractor.
